Summary

A steamship docked at a harbour. The passengers who are filling the deck and looking over the rails appear to be Australian soldiers, possibly troops on their way to South Africa during the Boer War. In the foreground a man is pushing a wooden cart or wheelbarrow, while in the background, friends and family say their farewells and more troops board the ship.
